The Nurses are a recurring type of [[monster]] and a staple of the [[Silent_Hill]] series, making appearances of one sort or another in all of the titles. They are visually similar across the series, sharing many common traits, with only the original [[silent_hill_1]] as an exception due to then-unestablished continuity that becomes more defined in [[Silent_Hill_2]], and [[Silent_Hill_4]], whose monster's appearance is different, but nurse-like none the less. Certain nurses have unique titles depending on the game their design originated from.
