Her defining attributes are her short black_hair and blue-colored scales on the side of her uniform, reflective of her theme motif as the Black Tortoise/Genbu of the class.
Her real-life destroyer counterpart was originally built for the Soviet Pacific Fleet before being sold to China in 1953 before being relieved of active service in 1991 to act as a stationary training ship.
