(スーパーロボットたいせんシリーズ, Super Robot Taisen Series, "Super Robot Wars Series"), abbreviated as "SupaRobo" or "SRW". A long-running, cross-platform strategic RPG [[video game]] series by Banpresto. Its premise is that it combines the characters, stories and (most importantly) mecha of various [[super robot]] and [[mecha]] science fiction anime series. This tag refers in particular to original characters created by [[Banpresto]] for the games (as well as other elements exclusive to them).
