An offense-class character in Overwatch. Cassidy used to make a name for himself in the notorious Deadlock Gang, but was eventually busted in an Overwatch sting operation. He was given the choice between rotting in a maximum-security lockup, or joining Blackwatch. He chose the latter, and was under the tutelage of reaper_(overwatch)|Gabriel Reyes.

Formerly named "Jesse McCree" after one of the former developers who was involved in a sexual harassment lawsuit at Blizzard Entertainment. As of October 22, 2021, his new official name is now "Cole Cassidy":twitter.com/PlayOverwatch/status/1451624387732512770 (displayed as "Cassidy" in-game).
