In the same vein as Royal Navy light cruisers, Cheshire is portrayed as a maid.

Her appearance is meant to invoke the image of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, with her maid headdress resembling cat ears and a near-constant :3 expression on her face. Physically, Chesire has dark grey hair with blue highlights, and blue eyes. Her outfit, like many of the other Royal Maids, large_breasts|emphasizes her bust.

Cheshire is an amorous woman who frequently refers to the Commander as "Darling", and claims to have imprinted upon them as a result of being built. She also has an interest in cats, as well as Sakura Empire ships that sport cat ears such as yamashiro_(azur_lane)|Yamashiro and akashi_(azur_lane)|Akashi.
