Cat tongues are characterized by their roughness due to the presence of prominently curved spines, or papillae, which can be easily seen protruding from the tongue's surface. Use this tag when a character's tongue has this property.
Do not confuse with cat's_tongue|cat's tongue, an expression used to describe an individual who is sensitive to hot foods and/or beverages.
