A major character from [[Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei]]. Kiri's name is a pun on the word "籠もりきり" - "komorikiri" ("recluse") - a play on her [[hikikomori]] lifestyle. She is often seen covered by a blanket. Accidentally frightened out of her home by her homeroom teacher [[Itoshiki Nozomu]] and classmate [[Fuura Kafuka]] while the former was encouraging her to come to school, and has since been a permanent fixture in the school, as well as a caretaker to her teacher and his nephew [[itoshiki_majiru|Majiru]].
