The eighth game in the [i][[Dragon Quest]][/i] series, originally released in 2004 for the [[Playstation 2]] and later brought to North America in 2005 and Europe in 2006. In 2013 it was ported as an app for Android and iOS mobile phones. It was the first game in the series to be released in America [i]Dragon Quest[/i] title, and the first to be released in Europe at all. h4.
