[b]Hanzou Hasashi[/b], a.k.a. [b]Scorpion[/b], is a character in the [[Mortal Kombat]] series. One of the greatest assassins of the Shirai Ryu clan of [[ninja]], Hasashi was killed in an attack that claimed his family and his entire clan before being brought back as the undead ninja specter known as Scorpion. Burning with rage, Scorpion sought vengeance against the Lin Kuei, the Chinese ninja responsible for the attack, and [[Sub-Zero]] in particular for killing him. But unbeknownst to Hasashi, the demon sorcerer [[Quan Chi]] was the true author of the events that led to the fall of his clan and his family's deaths.
