[[Super robot]] [[mecha]] anime and manga created by [[Nagai Gou]] in the 70s. [i][b]UFO Robo Grendizer[/b][/i] is a spin-off/sequel of [[Mazinger Z]] which is notable for featuring the original Mazinger protagonist [[Kabuto Kouji]]. The anime adaptation had character designs by [[Araki Shingo]]. It was broadcast on Japanese television from October 5, 1975, to February 27, 1977, and lasted 74 episodes.
