A character in Toriko no Kusari. She is yunoki_mio|Mio's cousin who also lives in her neighborhood and a member of the school's swimming club. She loves the rice toya_shiori|Shiori cooks, so she often crashes into Yui's house. Similar to Mio, Yui is a very hardworking and diligent person but tends to be overly serious at times too.

She isn't all that sure about her future but wishes to become a coach and PE teacher. During school, she often hangs out with both Mio and ayukawa_rinka|Rinka.
