荒潮 ("Stormy Tide")

Arashio was the fourth of the imperial_japanese_navy|IJN's "Asashio-class destroyers.":en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asashio-class_destroyer She was completed in December 1937 and sunk in March 1943 during "the Battle of the Bismarck Sea":en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Bismarck_Sea.

In Kantai Collection, Arashio is an easygoing girl with long_hair|long brown hair and brown_eyes|brown or yellow_eyes|yellow eyes. She wears a short_sleeves|short-sleeved white shirt, arm warmers, bike shorts under a skirt with suspenders and black_legwear|black kneehighs. Her equipment consists of a twin-gun turret, quad torpedo launcher and a randoseru-shaped structure. Her voice actress is Miyagawa Wakana.

With her second remodel released in the 25th January 2017 update, she wears the uniform shared by the rest of the remodeled Asashio-class. Arashio's version consists of a long_sleeves|long-sleeved white shirt under a frilled_dress|frilled pinafore dress and black_legwear|black pantyhose. Her equipment consists of a hand-held turret, two torpedo|torpedo launchers thigh_strap|strapped to her thighs, a searchlight resembling a crime prevention buzzer and a daihatsu_(landing_craft)|daihatsu attached to her backpack straps.

She is often giggling and trying to act sexy (like Kisaragi), but she looks more cute rather than sexy.
