One of the playable classes in Team Fortress 2, real name Mr. Mundy.

Raised in the Australian outback, the Sniper prides professionalism over all else. He takes his job as an assassin very seriously, and although he can often be amicable and polite, he considers sociality secondary to cold efficiency. Lives in a camper van, and has questionable hygienic practices. Although he cares for his adoptive parents, they are shown to disagree with his line of work. Supplementary materials would later reveal the Sniper to actually be the child of a crazed scientist couple from the sunken nation of New Zealand, explaining his lanky build compared to real Australians. Shared a gameplay update and plenty of animosity with Spy (tf2)|the Spy.

The primary long-range class of the game, the Sniper's main weapon is a bolt-action sniper rifle with which he can headshot most other classes to instantly kill them. He also wields the Huntsman bow_(weapon)|bow, a submachine gun, a kukri, and most infamously Jarate, a "jar-based karate" that consists of throwing jars of his own urine.

The Sniper's default outfit includes a dark vest over a team-colored shirt, a quiver on his back, brown fingerless gloves, partially transparent sunglasses, a brown hat, and simple dark pants and brown shoes.
