[b]Blackbeard[/b] (c. 1680 – 22 November 1718), otherwise known as [b]Edward Teach[/b] or [b]Edward Thatch[/b], was an infamous [[pirate]] who operated around the West Indies and the eastern coast of the American colonies. His ship was known as ''Queen Anne's Revenge'', and was outfitted with forty guns.
