The most dangerous weapon of both the [[turn_a_gundam_(mobile_suit)|Turn A Gundam]] and the [[Turn X]] [[mecha]] from the [[Turn A Gundam]] anime series - [spoiler]as well as the [[G-Lucifer]] from [[Gundam G no Reconguista]].[/spoiler] These are strange, colorful butterfly wings made of pure energy that emit from the Turn units when the attack is active. It is said that the attack has three requirements, the nanomachines, the energy to use them, and finally the program to activate it. At full power, the [b]Moonlight Butterfly[/b] can cover a wide range (from [[Earth (planet)|]] to [[Jupiter (planet)|]]), while turning most if not all technologies into silicon dioxide (sand). Lastly, the Moonlight Butterfly can be used as a defense of sorts as it can easily defend against both beam and physical attacks.
