[[splatoon_(series)|Splatoon]] character. Named [b]Hotaru[/b] in the Japanese version. She is part of an [[idol]] group known as Squid Sisters (Sea O' Colors in the Japanese release) with the other member being her [[cousins|cousin]] [[Callie (splatoon)|]]. She and Callie are also both news program hostesses that announce in-game news. She wears a green and black-themed outfit matching Callie's and wears a food cup on her head. Often drawn with a more melancholic expression compared to her cousin. Her Japanese name comes from the Japanese word for the "firefly squid":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watasenia_scintillans (蛍烏賊/ホタルイカ [i]Hotaru-ika[/i]) and their band's name in Japanese is a portmanteau of "shiokara" (a Japanese food made out of various marine animals, commonly squid) and "colors".
