Ancient [[Greek]] warriors. The most notable were the ones from the city of Sparta. The Spartan [b]hoplites[/b] were famous for their [[muscular]] bound anatomy, top physical condition and size, as well as their agility and strength which was the result of the brutal training the [[soldier]]s endured for years since childhood. These hoplites usually fought completely [[nude]] or with little or no clothes for more mobility and agility. They were protected with a bronze [[helmet]] designed to inspire fear and some minor leg [[armor]] also made of bronze. They always carried a single bronze [[spear]] which was their main weapon, and a very large crimson red [[cape]]. The cape was colored that way to hide the stains of [[blood]] from [[battle]] and was used to cover the soldiers during cold weather, to conceal or protect their weapons, as a blanket for sleeping and eating as well as a stretcher when the user was wounded or to cover the dead. h4.
