A multi-system farming simulation video game series. The player moves onto an abandoned or inherited farm and must rejuvenate their new hometown.

Most well-known in the West as [i]Harvest Moon[/i] (1997-2013), when it was distributed by Natsume. In 2014, Natsume lost the license to the series, and as the rights to the [[Harvest Moon (natsume)|]] name in the West is owned by them, the series renamed itself to [i]Story of Seasons[/i] outside of Japan.

The video game series [i][[Rune Factory]][/i] is a spin-off of the Bokujou Monogatari series; taking the game elements of Bokujou Monogatari and combining them with fantasy RPG game elements.
