Micro describes a character that is "tiny" in comparison to the world around them. A micro character is much smaller than average human size, with a height best measured in centimetres or inches.

Micro art often features these tiny characters using household objects in unconventional ways (such as using a tea cup as a bath, or a pin as a sword), or interacting with normal sized characters - especially in ways that are perilous, uncomfortable or deadly for the micro character, such as being used for sexual gratification against their wishes|Micro Abuse, being crushed|Crush or eaten alive|Vore.
