A species of arboreal mammals. Although called pandas, they're closer to raccoons in gait. It's taxonomic name is [i]Ailurus fulgens[/i]. Not to be confused with the [[raccoon]] or the [[tanuki]], despite looking similar to both animals. Red pandas can be recognized by their reddish-brown fur, white facial markings and longer bodies. h4.
