A main character in [[Aria]]. A Himeya Company gondolier-in-training. She has [[yellow eyes]] and dark [[blue hair]] with, which in the beginning of the series was gathered into [[long hair]], thin [[twin braids]] and [[swept bangs]], later changing into a [[bob cut]] fastened by [[hairclip|hairclips]] after Aika's hair was burned during a barbeque mishap. By the time of Avvenire she has grown her hair into [[short hair with long locks|short hair and long]] [[sidelocks]], still featuring the hairclips and the swept bangs. She is often depicted wearing the [[Himeya company uniform]] Aika takes care of the Himeya mascot, [[Hime Granzchesta]], and tries to keep fellow trainees [[Mizunashi Akari]] and [[Alice Carroll]] on an even keel.
