Originally she acted as a timid tsundere, her personality has shifted quite dramatically over the years into a more unhinged and chaotic persona. She is also known by her (admittedly, self-created and later adopted as her official channel name) nickname Haachama, which over time she developed into a separate (and now her main) persona.

She has aqua eyes, medium breasts|medium-to-large breasts, and very long hair|very long blonde hair with her bangs reaching hair between eyes|between her eyes. Her hairstyle consists of a one side up held by heart hair ornaments with the rest of her hair tied with red ribbon|red hair ribbon. A high ponytail|high ponytail with a red hairclip with her second outfit, a two side up with a small hair bow, multiple small heart decorations with her third outfit and medium hair with twintails, sidelocks and an ahoge with a tiara with her fourth outfit.

This is the default outfit for Haachama. It's a gothic lolita outfit (designed by tsukana_(saba_mizore)|Saba Mizore) consisting of a short dress|short red dress|red sleeveless dress|sleeveless layered dress with a black belt, black legwear|black thighhighs a single garter|single legwear garter and black footwear lace-up boots, she often wears a black capelet|black frilled capelet with a red bowtie and a long sleeves|long-sleeved, double-breasted black coat with a black skirt overskirt (although it's sometimes depicted as just a black dress and a red skirt.

Haato was originally somewhat of a tsundere but in reality, she was quite timid yet still tried out many things including speaking English, various games, and ASMR. She was studying in Australia when she debuted but has since moved back to Japan after she had graduated from high school in December 2020.

Her nickname "Haachama" originally denoted her doing something strange and sometimes outright insane yet highly entertaining moments (as some fans interpret it having due to her long stay in the australia|country down under), most notably her infamous "cooking" videos that can make even the strongest and most iron-willed break down in tears. She has also notoriously hosted lewd fanart contests.

She noted in her streams, Youtube and Twitter account that "HAACHAMA" is the name of her now main chaotic persona, and refers to her original persona (who has since evolved into a tsundere with almost none of the "tsun") as "Akaihaato". As she approached 1 million YouTube subscribers, she went on a period of pseudo-ARG, interconnected streams that focused on a psychological horror-based split-personality plot where Haato came back and fought against Haachama for control over the body, staying in-character as dictated by the narrative even outside of her streams, lasting for over a month. This period lead to the creation of a type of content western fans would call "lore streams".

Haato uses the phrase "Oha-rouge!"(おはるーじゅ！) as the opening to her streams, while Haachama uses the phrase "Haachama-chama~"(はあちゃまっちゃま～) which if you run it through Google Translate, reads out as "crazy", something befitting of her new persona.

She has lived in various parts of the world before, having also studied in the Philippines during her childhood where she once got hospitalized due to drinking the water but came back okay and "stronger than ever" (fans speculated that it was due to this that she has gained a stomach of iron that allows her to survive even the most deadliest of Haachama Cooking).

In November 2020, she along with fellow English-speaking hololive member Kiryu Coco (unofficially) declared themselves as "Generation 0" of Hololive English, and has attempted several times to "take over" the EN branch (and with it; "THE WORLD":www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqkJb65sSjo) with hilarious "results.":www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxGf20fOn2U
