[b]Hood[/b] is a battlecruiser class character based on the British Royal Navy's "HMS Hood":[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Hood] an Admiral-Class warship named after "Admiral Samuel Hood":[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Hood,_1st_Viscount_Hood] and at the time was the pride of the Royal Navy. Her ship index number is 1. Her original artist was JSæ¡‘ but with her remodeled art was replaced with "15k":/artists/136265 for the game [[Warship Girls R]]. Hood has [[long hair|long]] [[blonde hair]] with a small [[ahoge]] and a vibrant pink flower shaped [[hair ornament]]. She also wears a pair of [[red-framed eyewear|red]] [[semi-rimless eyewear|semi-rimless]] [[glasses]]. Her outfit consists of a military themed officer's outfit in black with white cuffs, a white [[capelet]] all with gold trim, prominent [[aiguillette]], a blue [[plaid skirt]] and white [[thighhighs]]. Her machinery is equally split between both sides of her, mounting two superfiring [[turret|turrets]] of twin 15-inch [[cannon]] to her left and right representing her forward and stern main armament configuration. Her ship funnels and a mast flying the [[white ensign]] are mounted behind her. On August 29th, Hood's remodeled artwork (post #2401044) was revealed as part of the Project R trailer and her remodel was released with patch 2.0 in early November. This version of Hood's hair ornament changes color to purple, her military uniform's base colors change to white with blue cuffs and capelet. Her footwear now features a blue cross shaped pattern with a [[union jack]] on her right leg. The machinery is also updated to include two red and white armor plates mounted forward to protect her legs and thighs, the addition of a pair of twin 4-inch turrets and a pair of British 2 Pounder 8 Barrel "Pom-Pom" anti-air guns mounted to her rear. The mast is replaced with the ship's spotting top featuring type 284 gunnery radar. Hood is depicted as a well-spoken, serene woman, exemplifying true British values such as sipping tea, staying calm and carrying on. Her bad eyesight is accredited to HMS Hood's inability to discern the difference between Prinz Eugene and Bismarck during the opening phases of the Battle of Denmark Strait. She may be suffering a degree of breast envy, padding out her chest area with one of the ship's cats, Fishcakes. A bug with her remodel's [[chibi]] battle sprite where she would be stuck in a permanent [[@_@]] state after taking damage of any kind has associated her with the facial expression. She is regularly paired with [[bismarck (warship girls r)|Bismarck]] either as bitter rivals, in some form of [[Yuri]] situation or both at the same time. She may also be seen as the leader of other Royal Navy characters due to her remodel's skill requiring that she be made flagship of any formation to take effect.
