[b]RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex"[/b] A vastly upgraded version of the [[RX-78-2]], as the original machine was already showing signs of obsolescence and simply couldn't keep up with the speed of [[Amuro Ray]]'s Newtype reflexes. It possessed hidden 90mm wrist guns, a redesigned beam rifle, and was much faster and possessed greater maneuverability thanks to extra thrusters.
