A [[science fiction]] visual novel with [[mecha]] action gameplay in the [[Baldr (series)|]] series. It is the first Baldr game to feature a [[cyberpunk]] setting, where characters dive into a virtual reality world to conduct leisure, business, and military operations. This type of setting would become a mainstay feature of the Baldr franchise, with later entries building upon the VR themes introduced in this game. Originally released in 2002 for PC, it received a rerelease with an updated soundtrack titled [b]Baldr Force EXE[/b] in 2003, which received an all-ages [[Sega Dreamcast]] port in 2004, and a [[PlayStation 2]] port with a new voice cast in 2005. The PS2 version was later ported back to PC as [b]Baldr Force Standard Edition[/b] in 2007. A four-episode OVA adaptation of the game titled [[Baldr Force EXE Resolution]] was released between 2006 and 2007. h4.
