Geki are male shamans, in the same vein as traditional miko, who were female shamans. While possibly improper, this tag could also be used to refer to male shrine maidens, or shrine "mayhen":[en.wiktionary.org/wiki/magu%C3%BEegn]s, if a male equivalent of the word existed in modern English.
