A cub is a young carnivorous mammal (such as a bear, fox, wolf or lion...); analogous to a domestic puppy or kitten.

The cub tag however, is used to refer to any feral, semi-anthro, or anthro animal, object, creature, etc, that appears "underage" in appearance.

Usually the subjects of the tag will appear flat-chested with small limbs and genitallia to give off a "cute" appearance.

Unlike the banned Loli tag, cub differs in that the subjects are never human, nor do they resemble human beings enough to be mistaken for one.

For this reason, the law is less strict regarding cub pornography, allowing it to be featured on this site.

Humans with minor animal features like cat ears, tails, or claws (kemonomimi) that appear underage, are still considered loli and are banned.
