Ruby Rose is the protagonist of [[RWBY]], a 3DCG series produced by Rooster Teeth. Ruby is the "R" in RWBY. [[Yang Xiao Long]] is her half-sister. She likes cookies, drinks milk, and has a cheerful disposition. h4. Abilities She wields a large [[scythe]]/[[gun]] hybrid weapon named [[Crescent Rose]], a "High-Caliber Sniper-Scythe" (HCSS). Her symbol is a [[rose]], and red [[rose petals]] appear when she uses her speed semblance (special ability). Whenever in the presence of [[grimm (rwby)|]], Her eyes glow brightly showing a bright light. When used, any [[grimm (rwby)|]] in front of this light will be turned to dust or turned into a statue. Physical characteristics Ruby has [[grey eyes]] and [[short hair|short]] [[two-tone hair|two-toned]] [[gradient hair|gradient]] [[red hair]]/[[black hair]], or black with red streaks. In earlier volumes of the series, she stood 5'2" tall (including boots). As of Volume 7, she is 5'4" tall. h4. Attire She is usually seen in a [[red cape|red]] [[cape]] or [[hooded cloak]] secured with [[cross]]-shaped pins. Her default outfit includes a [[long sleeves|long sleeved]] [[black dress]] (with red [[frilled dress|frills]]) tied with a [[corset]], [[black legwear|black]] [[pantyhose]], and [[black footwear|black]] [[knee boots]] with red [[lace-up boots|laces]].
