Not to be confused with the similarly worded, "[[Netorare]] (寝取られ)" This kind of netorare is orchestrated by the deliberate actions (or inaction) of the [b]protagonist[/b]. The hero(ine) wouldn't willingly cheat on the protagonist, but the protagonist intentionally manipulates the situation so that the hero(ine) will end up raped by others, or just flat out convinces/orders the hero(ine) to have sex with other people. Either the protagonist does this for personal gain (selling his girlfriend for money or using her to obtain blackmail materials on someone), wants to push the hero(ine) away, or they enjoy such a situation where the hero(ine) has sex with other people.
