Kazama Jin (風間 仁) is one of the main characters of the [[Tekken]] series. First appearing in [[Tekken 3]], Jin is the son of [[Kazama Jun]] and [[Mishima Kazuya]]. He was raised by his mother; Jun, for most of his young life until he turned 15, when his mother was supposedly murdered by [[Ogre (Tekken)|]], an ancient being known as "Toshin, the God of Fighting." He was taken in by his grandfather, [[Mishima Heihachi]] who taught him Mishima Style Karate. Jin was able to defeat Ogre, winning the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 but was betrayed and almost shot dead by Heihachi. From [[Tekken 4]] onward, he would use traditional Karate instead of Mishima style to fall more in line with his mother's teachings and to distance himself from his Mishima heritage. In [[Tekken 5]], his [[dark persona]], [[Devil Jin]] became a playable character, using his moveset from games prior to Tekken 4. In [[Tekken 6]], after defeating [[Mishima Jinpachi]] in the previous tournament. Jin was declared the new head of the Mishima Zaibatsu. He used his new leadership to wage a world war, and to host the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6. However, he was bested by [[Lars Alexandersson]]. Jin is characterized by his altruism, as evident by his interactions with [[Ling Xiaoyu]] and [[Hwoarang (Tekken)|]]. He plans to end the Mishima bloodline by killing Heihachi, Kazuya and then himself. Jin's outfits usually consist of black pants or hooded jackets with a flame motif. In Tekken 3 and [[Tekken Tag Tournament]], he had a school uniform alternate costume alongside Xiaoyu, as they both attended the same high school. In Tekken 6, he wears a business suit alternate costume and an emperor outfit (post #477124) designed by [[CLAMP (circle)|]]. His [[Tekken 7]] outfit was designed by [[Kozaki Yuusuke]].
