In [[real life]] he was a very capable leader, a fierce warrior in combat and a truly honorable man. He is actually considered a national hero in Greece. When the Persians asked the Greeks to put down their weapons at the start of the Battle of Thermopylae king Leonidas supposedly exclaimed: "ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ" ([i]"Come and get them!"[/i]). h4.
