A former Virtual YouTuber and 3rd batch member of hololive, also called "Hololive Fantasy".

She is a necromancer with red eyes and medium hair|medium green hair with a blue hair|blue gradient hair|gradient. Her default hairstyle consists of double buns held by a blue hair ribbon and a skull hair ornament and long sidelocks, short twintails|short low twintails and an ahoge with skull-shaped pom pom hair ornaments or long_hair|long pink hair in a two side up with her second outfit and asymmetrical hair with uneven twintails with her 2nd anniversary outift. She's often seen with a chick on top of her head which she calls Piyoko (uruha rushia)|.

Her original costume (post #3915382) consists of a blue dress|blue, frilled dress|frilled strapless dress|strapless short dress with a butterfly print and butterfly-shaped dress bow|bows, skull earrings a detached collar with a skull brooch, detached sleeves|detached blue sleeves|blue wide sleeves|wide juliet sleeves and grey footwear|grey high heel boots|high-heel ankle boots.

Her second outfit (post #3964840) is a gothic lolita-themed black dress|black off-shoulder dress with short sleeves|short with criss-cross frilled straps and see-through sleeves, a black choker|black lace choker, black wristbands and white legwear|white frilled legwear|frilled thighhighs with white garter straps. The most striking change is to her hair, sporting long_hair|long pink hair in a two side up instead. She can optionally add glasses or revert to her old buns hairstyle (and keep her hair color).

She has a variation of her second costume (post #4323254) with ear piercing|pierced cat ears with an ear ribbon. Her hairstyle changes to a pair of short twintails|short low twintails and an ahoge decorated with skull-shaped pom pom hair ornaments. Additionally, her earrings are now ghost earrings|ghost-shaped and Piyoko is now part of her model rather than just a drawing. She also has a variation for her 2nd anniversary costume (post #4752880) which changes her hairstyle into uneven twintails and adds a tilted headwear|tilted mini crown and a black coat with a popped collar, which she wears coat on shoulders|on her shoulders.

Originally, Rushia was usually extremely shy and easily emotionally damaged, which made her especially bad at horror games, but in recent times, Rushia has been encouraged to let herself go a bit more (compared to a more uptight, script-reliant personality earlier in her tenure), which has led to a fair bit of her screaming, raging, and what is referred to as "lunatic mode" (lit. menhera, meaning "mentally unstable"), a step closer towards yandere that makes Rushia quite scary at times. She also has developed a trauma upon hearing the word "cutting board" (or anything referring to her flat chest|complete lack of a chest) due to one of Usada Pekora's pranks.

Uruha Rushia reached one million subscribers on 2 March 2021.

On February 24, 2022, Rushia was terminated for an alleged breach of contract that had occurred a few weeks prior and stirred quite an amount of controversy.
