Tag type: General

This tag indicates that an image sourced from DeviantArt is sampled, and is not the original image.

DeviantArt image URLs sometimes contain either the string "200H" or "PRE". These URLs point to scaled down images, not the full size. 200H URLs point to small thumbnails, scaled down to 200 pixels. PRE URLs point to medium-sized samples, displayed on the art page by default if the full-sized image is too large. If you remove the "200H/" or "PRE/" parts from one of these sample URLs, the resulting URL will point to the full-sized version instead.

This tag should be used when the image uploaded to Danbooru is one of these scaled down versions.

It is Danbooru policy to either replace samples or delete them. See image sample for more information. See howto:deviantart for how to upload from DeviantArt correctly.
