The main hero of the [[Toushinden]] series [spoiler]but becomes an antagonist in Toshinden 4.[/spoiler] Eiji is a hotheaded swordsman who has become infamous in the fighting world for his skill, despite his immaturity. He joins the tournament to find his older brother [[Sho Shinjo]]. Later, Eiji matures into an independent young man who can fend for himself against the toughest opponents, assisting in the downfall of the Himitsu Kessha's corrupt leaders. [spoiler]Surprisingly, Eiji becomes the new head of the Himitsu Kessha, organizing the fourth tournament many years later to bring together the Four Divine Weapons.
