This tag is useless as most characters have a head. Do not use If the image is mostly focused on the head, consider using [[portrait]], [[face_focus]], or [[headshot_portrait]] as they apply. If the image contains a severed head, instead use [[disembodied_head]] or [[severed_head]] where they apply. Updated by QuietBob Fri, Jun 23 '23, 16:13 |
V1 |
A part of an organism that usually includes the ears, [[brain]], [[forehead]], cheeks, [[chin]], eyes, [[nose]], and mouth, each of which helps with various sensory functions such as sight, hearing, smell, and taste, respectively. Some very simple [[animal]]s may not have heads, but many bilaterally symmetrical forms do, regardless of size. Use this tag as the upmost extreme of cropped anatomy (beyond [[cropped shoulders]]) in which only a character's head is drawn, or when a character's head is the primary focus of the image, excluding their [[face]]. Don't use it just because the image contains a severed head, instead use [[disembodied head]] or [[severed head]] where they apply, unless the image is mainly focused on the head itself.
