The second mothership title in the [[tales of (series)|Tales of...]] series developed by Namco for the Playstation 1, then entirely remade for the Playstation 2. It follows [[Tales of Phantasia]]'s gameplay very closely, but is credited for introducing the concept of skits - in the original Japanese PS1 version, the characters speak to each other while walking on the overworld map.
