Japanese name: 遊戯王5D's English official romanization: [[Yu-Gi-Oh!]] 5D's (Five Dragons) The third series and second spin-off of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime franchises. It focuses on Synchro summoning, which were then the first new type of monster introduced into the card game, as well as [i]Speed Duel[/i], a shortened and fast-paced format of the game. Set in a far future in New Domino city, where the poor were discriminated and confined within a slum called "Satellite" while also being forbaded from having any [i]Duel Monster[/i] deck. The series focus on [[Fudou Yuusei|Fudo Yusei]], a talented outlaw duelist from Satellite who were chosen by [[Stardust Dragon]] as one of the five [i]Signers[/i], a group of duelists chosen by five [[dragon]] cards destined to be united and fought against future global threats. h4.
