A fictional [[alien]] creature from the new sequel trilogy of [[Star Wars]] films. It first appeared in the [[Star Wars: The Force Awakens]] movie from 2015. The [b]Luggabeast[/b] is a type of non-sentient, quadruped alien species that lived in the galaxy. In the decades following the Battle of Endor, luggabeasts could be found on the desert world of [[jakku_(star_wars)|Jakku]], where the [[Teedo]] population used the beasts for scavenging. To help them locate droids and other valuables, the Teedos gave the creatures several cybernetic implants and other [[robot]]ic enhancements such as [[armor]], detection equipment, sensors or optical instruments turning them into [[cyborg]] beasts of burden.
