The final boss of the video games mother_1|Mother and Mother 2 (also known as EarthBound in the US).

Known as Gyiyg in the original.

In the first game, his appearance was of a grayish alien.

In the second game, his appearance changed drastically, becoming one swirling red face which appears to be screaming.

He is best known for the mind_rape|mind rape his appearance and attacks in Mother 2 causes, spawning the line "You cannot grasp the true form of Giygas' attack".
