One of the two protagonists of the original series that kicked off the [[Kamen Rider]] franchise. [[hongou takeshi|Takeshi Hongo]] is kidnapped by the terrorist organization, Shocker, and surgically altered into a cyborg. Hongo, however, manages to escape before being brainwashed to do Shocker's bidding and uses his new power to begin his war against evil as the first Kamen Rider.
