A mob in Minecraft. A tall black creature with elongated arms and legs, and purple eyes. Noted for its ability to pick up and move certain blocks, and thus erode a player's constructions.
Endermen are passive unless the player directly looks at them, at which time they freeze in place and begin shaking. They will then teleport to the player and attack once the player looks away. They have been compared to a Weeping Angel in this respect, though they do not remain motionless when in visual range.
They appear to be natives of the end (minecraft)|The End, where they are the only mob to spawn other than the Ender Dragon.
