Wiki History Listing

V1 A thin, straight, hand-held stick made of wood, stone, ivory, or metal, with ceremonial or magical significance. A conductor's baton, in music, can also be referred to as a wand.

In fiction, it is generally used as a magical tool to cast or channel magic just like a magical [[staff]]. The difference between a stave and a wand is that a wand is often used in less "serious" works especially by fairies or fairy godmothers and can imply a playful form of magic.

[[Laevatein (touhou)|]], associated with [[Flandre Scarlet]], is an example of a more unusual wand.
