V1 [b]A bird's-eye view[/b] is an elevated view of an object from above, with a perspective as though the observer were a bird.

The opposite is a [[worm's-eye view]].

** bird's-eye_view - When the viewpoint of the image is directly overhead of the subject, almost like you were flying over them.
