The 6th batch of [[virtual youtuber|vtubers]] from [[hololive]], dubbed as "holoX" (pronounced "holoks"). Their theme is a secret organization. To fit with the "secrecy" theme, Cover co. announced the group's existence only 9 hours before the first member, [[La+ Darknesss]], debuted on 26 November 2021. Also worth noting is that unlike [[hololive Fantasy]] (3rd gen) and [[holoForce]] (4th gen), holoX marks the first time since [[hololive Gamers]] that a hololive JP talent group starts out with a name of their own, a tradition normally associated only with [[hololive English]].
