Fruit bats, or Megabats constitute the family of Pteropodidae of the order Chiroptera (bats). Most of them are frugivorous (that has a diet based mainly or exclusively on fruits or related), and some are nectarivorous (that has a diet mainly or exclusively based on nectar).
