h4. Appearance
As a J-class, she is dressed and geared identically to jervis (kancolle)|Jervis, the only difference being that she is left-handed and that her gear is always painted like Jervis Kai.

Like Jervis, she is also a blue_eyes|blue-eyed blonde_hair|blonde, but her hairstyle is quite different: Medium-length hair curling and rolling inwards (making her look like she has shorter hair) along with parted bangs, the right-side bangs also being feathered.

Her characteristic smile in "her official art":[/posts/3618172] has been compared to the gooey goopy grin of a slime_(dragon_quest)|slime in the Dragon Quest series.

She is named after "Janus":[en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janus], the Roman god of doors, time and more. Her name is pronounced as in English (JAY-nus) and not as in Latin (YAAH-noos).
