When a character's butt_cheeks slap together, making an audible clapping noise. It can happen if a character is hopping, making a sudden jump, is thrusting, bouncing in place, shaking their butt or even while walking; however, it is most often associated with twerking — but not all images with clapping cheeks should be tagged as twerking.

In static art and soundless animation, it can be represented by motion_lines, afterimage, and/or motion_blur to suggest the buttocks moving, sometimes with emanata for the collision between the cheeks; onomatopoeia like "slap" or "clap" (or more evocative sound effects like "plap" "thwap" or "whop") are also frequently seen. The buttocks may also be drawn squishing together and rippling, usually along with the sound and visual effects mentioned above.
