Silent Hill (film) is a 2006 supernatural horror movie directed by Christophe Gans and written by Roger Avary, based on the silent_hill video game.
Though the movie is primarily based off the plot of the first game, monsters such as pyramid_head, the lying_figure and nurses from silent_hill_2 make appearances, though all with new, unique designs.
A sequel, entitled Silent Hill: Revelation, was released in October 2012, this time basing its plot off of silent_hill_3.
