[b]Aa! Megami-sama[/b] (ああっ女神さまっ, [i]Oh My Goddess![/i] or [i]Ah! My Goddess![/i]) is a Japanese seinen manga series. The series follows college sophomore [[Morisato Keiichi]] and the goddess [[Belldandy]] who moves in with him in a Buddhist temple; after Belldandy's sisters [[Urd (aa megami-sama)|]] and [[Skuld (aa megami-sama)|]] move in with them, they encounter gods, demons and other supernatural entities as Keiichi develops his relationship with Belldandy. The series is written and illustrated by [[Fujishima Kousuke]] and has been serialized in [i]Monthly Afternoon[/i] since September 1988; the individual chapters are being published in tankōbon by [[Kodansha]], with the first released on August 23, 1989; the final volume of the manga series, volume 48, was released on July 23, 2014, marking nearly 26 years of publication. Aside from the manga, the series is also known for the two main anime adaptations: the 1993 OVA, and the later 2005 anime series that spanned two seasons. These are the most popular versions of the series, especially outside of Japan (where the manga remained the most popular iteration of the series). Other media include the 2000 movie, a series of short comedy episodes, a second OVA (consisting of three episodes), and a special called "Fighting Wings" that adapts the story arc of the same name from the manga. h4.
