Zouri are flat and thonged Japanese [[sandals]] that are very similar to [[flip-flops]]. Typically made of rice straw, cloth, lacquered wood, leather, or rubber. Not to be confused with [[okobo]], which have a taller platform and are usually angled inwards, or [[geta]], which are elevated by slats of wood. h4.
